Ethan Rogers received his Masters with Secondary Teacher certification from the department of German studies in 2015. A born and raised Southern Californian, he moved to Arizona in 2003. After high school, he spent one year in Dortmund, Germany as a youth ambassador for Rotary International, where he was able to develop his German language skills and encounter the fascinating culture of the German people. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and German Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona in 2012. His research interests are ever developing, but include teaching & learning through language immersion, grammar structure acquisition, the effectiveness of error correction and modernist literature. After his MA, Ethan plans to return to Germany to work and teach.
