Jesse Archbold received his BA in German Studies with a minor in Adolescents, Community, and Education (ACE) at the University of Arizona in 2016. Prior to attending the University of Arizona, he attended Pima Community College where he received his Associates of Arts in General Studies in 2013. During his senior year at the University of Arizona, Jesse served as secretary for the undergraduate German Student Club. Jesse was the first person in his family to earn a Bachelor's degree or to attend a university. Jesse's research interests are primarily focused on cold war Germany and the relationship between the former German Democratic Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany both during the cold war and after the reunification of the two nations and how these relationships are represented in literature and linguistic landscapes of contemporary Germany.
