Deutscher Studenten Cup 2011 - Soccer Tournament supported by Chapman Automotive

Psyched about soccer? Plenty of energy, but no where to use it? The University of Arizona Department of German Studies and its student club, the Deutscher Studenten Club, are ready for the 2nd Annual Deutscher Studenten Cup, a study abroad soccer tournament. Teams made up of local professionals, university faculty, staff, students and alumni will play against one another in world cup style modus at this fun event, which will be held in 2011 on Saturday, November 12th on the UA Mall. The tournament is a fundraiser for a study abroad scholarship in the club’s name and all proceeds go directly to a study abroad scholarship.

This event is generously supported by Chapman Automotive of Tucson.

Further support is provided by ASUA, the Student Faculty Interaction Fund, UITS, the German Consulate in LA, Off Campus Housing, Eller College of Management and DAAD (German Academic Exchange), the University of Arizona College of Humanities, and the School of International Languages, Literatures & Cultures.
