Jennifer Gwasira was awarded her B.A. Honors in German and Linguistics from the University of Zimbabwe. She learnt German while on a year long Rotary Youth Exchange Program in North-West Germany in 2016, which has since evoked her passion for German Studies. Her interest and inquiry particularly lie in teaching German as a foreign language (DaF), Language Acquisition and Intercultural Communication, as well as where the aforementioned intersect. Jennifer has completed German Teacher Training with Goethe-Zentrum Harare (GZH) and Goethe Institut Johannesburg, and has subsequently taught German as a foreign language at the GZH. She was awarded a DAAD Scholarship to participate in advanced German courses at the RWTH Aachen University in 2020. Jennifer is a Max Kade Fellow 2022-2023.
