A lighthearted look at the opening of the border crossing of Bornholmer Straße in Berlin from the point of view of the confused border guards. November 9, 1989 and history is about to be made in Berlin. However, this is not apparent to a group of east German border guards, led by their commander, Harald Schäfer, especially with more pressing concerns like a dog on the loose.
