In the far off year of 2267, Earth has been ravaged by climate change. In an attempt to escape the overcrowded space stations of Earth’s orbit and join her sister on the colony planet Rhea, Dr. Laura Portmann (Anna Katharina Schwabroh) signs up to crew the cargo ship Kassandra for 8 years. While monitoring the health of her fellow crewmates in cryosleep, Dr. Portmann is unnerved by sounds from the aged space freighter. She awakens the rest of the crew to investigate the sound, and they uncover the truth of their cargo. Nominated for the 2010 Best Swiss Film Prize. 112 min.
