Based on the 2014 satire by Timur Vermes. Adolf Hitler wakes up in a parking lot in 2014 Berlin to find that the War is over and a multicultural Germany reacts with terror and laughter. Assumed to be a satirical character actor, Hitler is picked up by filmmaker and TV producer, who exploits the image for success. A witty black mirror of how fascism can be lauded into sincere support. Winner of the 2016 Bambi and 2016 CIVIS European Cinema Prize. 116 min.
