We would like to invite colleagues to a collaborative workshop, in which we focus on sharing and collecting authentic online materials and on developing instructional units based on these materials for immediate use in the classroom. Please bring ideas, and some thoughts on the following questions:
- How do we use authentic online materials in the L2 (second-language) classroom to develop linguistic and cultural competencies?
- How can we best align student outcomes with the standards (Common Core, National Standards, ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, Common European Framework of References for Languages, Lingua Folio)?
- How and why do we integrate (new) media in our teaching?
