The History of the Jews During the Middle Ages

We can learn much about modern religious conflicts by looking back to Medieval Times. The conflict between Christianity and Judaism has very deep roots and determines much of western culture and history. The Jewish People experienced a particularly mixed, often very painful life in the European Middle Ages. However, it is also erroneous to assume that they were all victimized. Negative accounts about tragedies must be balanced with sober analysis of the actual conditions.
