New Publication on German as a Foreign Language by Doctoral Students in the Arizona-Leipzig Program in Transcultural German Studies

Doctoral students, Jupp Möhring and Nicole Mackus recently celebrated the release of their co-edited volume Wege zur Bildung, Beruf und Gesellschaft - mit Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache. The collected essays of the book explore a range of innovative topics related to the teaching and learning of German including the role of cultural studies, German for specific purposes, and the role of linguistic theories and methods in German as a Second Language.

Both Jupp Möhring and Nicole Mackus are students in the Transcultural German Studies PhD program, a joint program between the University of Arizona and the University of Leipzig that offers dual degrees from both institutions.
