Patrick Ploschnitzki (Doctoral candidate in Transcultural German Studies) will present his Dissertation Proposal "'Am Ende des Tages bin ich fein damit': How a changing dubbing process affects German language and culture." The proposal will begin with a 20–30 minute presentation by the candidate, then 10 minutes for audience questions. At that point, the committee (Gramling, Warner, Colina, von Ammon) will deliberate without the candidate and then provide feedback for the last 20 minutes. This means that the public portion lasts from 10am to approximately 10:45am.
