German Studies Faculty and Graduate Student Colleagues will spend an hour looking at recent and just-released journal issues in and around German Studies, so as to get a feel for what the new and emerging topics of research inquiry are in 2013-2014. This will be a great way for you to keep up with recent scholarship, expose yourself to some new venues for learning, and build your future program of research..

If you have an extra minute, perhaps you'll rummage around and find your favorite journal issue and bring it with—whether from the library or your own collection. You could bring a pedagogy-oriented journal, a history or literary / visual culture journal, an anthropology journal—or just a screen-shot from an online Table of Contents.
