Citavi is a web based system for reference management and knowledge organization. It supports the entire research process - from searching for sources over managing texts, evaluating sources, organizing knowledge, planning tasks to writing and finishing your paper. This system never forgets in which context you read a text, which notes you took and where you put a copy of it. And it automatically generates a list of references in the preferred citation style (e.g. for your MA-reading-list or dissertation or any other publication). In this colloquium, a basic introduction into the main functions of the program will be given so you can get started with Citavi.
