Call for members of the Delta Phi Alpha German Honor Society

Would you like to wear German Honors Society cords with your gown when you graduate this or next year? This is your chance (undergrad and grad)!
On March 20, Delta Phi Alpha applications (German Honors Society, with cords) are due:
- Conditions to apply:
- A minimum of two (2) years of college or university German or their equivalent
- A minimum average of B+ or its equivalent in German courses
- A minimum cumulative average of B- or its equivalent
- Indication of continued interest in the study of German language and literature
- How to apply:
- Email Dr. Janice McGregor or Dr. Albrecht Classen to submit by Wednesday, March 20:
a. A short narrative of ca. 200 words in German on why you study German and what membership in Delta Phi Alpha would mean for you
b. Unofficial transcript confirming that you meet the qualifications
c. $25 (cash or check only) that goes to the national organization (lifetime membership)
*Option: Enclose an additional $10 (total: $35) if you would like to acquire German cords to wear with your gown at graduation.

On April 12 @ 4 PM, we will hold our Delta Phi Alpha Induction Ceremony (family and friends welcome) at the Spring Fest. Attached is a photo from last year’s ceremony!
