Laurie Clark (Doctoral candidate in Transcultural German Studies) will present her Dissertation Proposal "Examining second/foreign language speaking anxiety in the classroom: An arts-based approach". The event will begin with a ca. 30 minute presentation by the candidate, after which there are 30 minutes for audience questions. After this first hour, the public portion is concluded. At that point, the committee (Drs. Joela Jacobs, Chantelle Warner, Janice McGregor, and Nicole Marx) will deliberate without the candidate and then provide feedback to the candidate in closed session for ca. 30 minutes.
