Lea Bachmann (Doctoral candidate in Transcultural German Studies) will present her Dissertation Proposal "Zur Inszenierung von Depression in der Jugendliteratur". The event will begin with a ca. 30 minute presentation by the candidate, after which there are 30 minutes for audience questions. After this first hour, the public portion is concluded. At that point, the committee (Drs. Maren Conrad, Joela Jacobs, Judith Rauscher, and Barbara Kosta) will deliberate without the candidate and then provide feedback to the candidate in closed session for ca. 30 minutes.
