Enock Omondi Amimo, “A Study of German Language Learning by Migrant Adults with Emerging Alphabetic Literacies in Eastern Africa”

Enock Omondi Amimo (Doctoral candidate in Transcultural German Studies) will present his Dissertation Proposal “A Study of German Language Learning by Migrant Adults with Emerging Alphabetic Literacies in Eastern Africa”. The event will begin with a ca. 30 minute presentation by the candidate, after which there are 30 minutes for audience questions. After this first hour, the public portion is concluded. At that point, the committee (Drs. Peter Ecke, Nicole Marx, Janice McGregor, and Matthias Mehl) will deliberate without the candidate and then provide feedback to the candidate in closed session for ca. 30 minutes.
