In 2018, the Arizona Summer-Study-in-Leipzig Germany Program, offered by the Department of German Studies, is celebrating its 15th anniversary! The program, directed by Professor Peter Ecke, is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their German language skills and experience the culture firsthand. Since 2003, 360 students have studied in Leipzig within this program. See here a video about the program's 10th anniversary. If you would like to spend the next summer in a historic city in the middle of Germany, immerse yourself in the German language and culture, make new friends, participate in excursions in the region, and earn six units of credit to fulfill the UA’s second language requirement or work towards a major/minor in German Studies, please apply here.
