The Humanities Matter Scholarship is awarded to one winner and one honorable mention each academic year. University of Arizona undergraduate students enrolled in majors or minors offered by the College of Humanities are eligible to apply.
Awardees of the Humanities Matter Scholarship are selected on the basis of the required essay, titled “Why the Humanities Matter in My Life and in the World.”
All applicants must submit an essay on the topic, citing specific examples about the importance of the Humanities. No minimum GPA required. Deadline to apply is March 2, 2018 via Scholarship Universe.
