An Award-Winning Author Visits Tucson

Sharon Dodua Otoo, 2016 Winner of the prestigious Ingeborg Bachmann Prize for Literature, met with various groups of German Studies faculty and students over the weekend of Nov. 12-14, before offering a bilingual reading of her winning short story at the Poetry Center on Monday, Nov. 15. Over 75 members of the community were in attendance. This series of events was sponsored generously by the Department of French and Italian, the Program in Africana Studies, and the Department of German Studies.
