Classen receives university-wide advising award

Prof. Albrecht Classen, a renowned scholar of medieval literature and culture in the Department of German Studies, received the prestigious Excellence in Academic Advising award for 2014-2015, which is awarded to one faculty member university-wide each year. In addition to his learned contributions to the international field of medieval German Studies, Prof. Classen is known around the Arizona campus for his open-door, enthusiastic approach to helping undergraduate majors and minors find their way through a course of study in German.
