Congratulations to the many students who have passed through classes and programs in the Department of German Studies and graduated in May. Three graduate students completed their Master’s degrees: Alan Eby, Sabine Koehler-Curry and Rachel Walker. Rachel was the recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award and a Fulbright Grant that will take her to Austria to teach for one year in a high school. Alan Eby received a Fulbright and will be teaching in Austria as well. Sabine Köhler-Curry has joined our joint PhD program with the University of Leipzig in Transcultural German Studies.
