In his new collection of essays and satires, Wildgewordenes Amerika, Albrecht Classen reflects on his life in the United States after thirty-six years since his immigration. Things no longer look that fabulous, but who would say that the old home country is that much better? The everyday life here and there is filled with all kinds of odd situations, sometimes hilarious, sometimes a little bitter. This volume is the third one of satires by the author, in addition to several volumes of his own poetry.
