Meet our Graduates: Kimberly Henderson graduated with a double major in German and Neuroscience & Cognitive Science in 2019. In April, she was awarded the Fulbright Grant to do research at Charité’s Center for Stroke Research (CSB) Berlin. She applied for this prestigious grant because she felt that there was still so much more to learn about both German and Neuroscience. In Germany, she will be doing molecular stroke research, specifically researching the role of a special protein in neuroprotection in in vitro and in vivo models of ischemic stroke. Of course, while in Germany, she will continue working on further improving her German. In her own words, "Ich freue mich über dieses neue Abenteuer und ermutige andere Studenten, Fulbright zu beantragen und Deutsch weiter zu studieren."
