Hallo majors/minors:
The National German Honor Society, Delta Phi Alpha, seeks to recognize excellence in the study of German and to provide an incentive for higher scholarship. Members can also apply for grants for study abroad.
You can join now, even if you are not graduating in SP 2022 (members also have scholarship opportunities 
) Requirements to join are:
- A minimum of two years of college or university German (or their equivalent)
- A minimum average of B+ (3.3 GPA) or its equivalent in all German courses counting towards the German major (33 credits) or minor (21 credits)
- A minimum cumulative average of B- (2.7 GPA) or its equivalent
- A letter indicating the applicants’ continued interest in the study of German language, literature, and culture
