| My Ph.D. in Transcultural German Studies from the College of Humanities at the University of Arizona not only taught me how to conduct innovative research and effectively impart my knowledge to my students; rather, my education in the humanities helped me to challenge myself, to explore my intellectual horizons, and to find my own place in the world. Most importantly, I learned how to have a positive impact on the lives of others, and that service is the most rewarding achievement. |
