David Asad receives English teaching assistantship in Austria

Recent alum David Asad (BA German Studies; BS Ecology & Evolutionary Biology; minor in Entomology) has received a competitive English teaching assistantship (USTA) position through the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) for 2024-2025. Each year, the BMBWF invites recent college and university graduates to apply for these positions, requiring, among other things, proof of minimum B1 German proficiency. In September, David will head to Leoben, Steiermark/Styria where he'll be working at HTL Leoben and the Leoben Europa-Gymnasium. Herzlichen Glückwunsch und viel Spaß in Österreich, David!
