Alina Antonov is a doctoral candidate currently taking part in the Transcultural German Studies PhD Program. She acquired her BA and MA in Leipzig, Germany. Her research focuses on German literature of the 19th century, expressionism, and drama analysis. Following up on her MA thesis, she'll write her dissertation about Gottfried Benns often overlooked dramatic works and their implications on modern drama, dialogue as a literary category, and drama theory.
