Jasmin Klein is a doctoral student in the binational Transcultural German Studies PhD program at the University of Arizona and Leipzig University. Born and raised in the German Altmark region, she acquired both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in German Studies at Leipzig University. Her bachelor's thesis examined the construction of the fantasy world in Michael Ende's „The Neverending Story”. Her master's thesis focused on the narratological portrayal of the anxiety disorder in Sven Stricker's crime story „Sörensen hat Angst”.
