Graduate Assistant
Victor Bor is a graduate student in the German Studies Program. He graduated from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 2017. His research interests include the utilization of digital tools and methodologies for research in German Studies and Black Studies. Victor has experience teaching German as well as History at Longisa High School and Utumishi Academy in Kenya. He also gained experience as a private tutor in Mombasa. He has also worked at Teleperformance as a Customer Service Representative, assisting German and Austrian customers in English and German.
Victor Bor has also volunteered for the German Commission for UNESCO under the UNESCO Kulturweit program and interned at the German Bundestag under the prestigious Internationales Parlaments Stipendium (IPS-Afrika), further enhancing his professional development.
Victor has taken several professional development courses from the Goethe Institute, including one in July 2022 in Berlin alongside other teachers of German from across the world.
