Antonia Kampe is a doctoral student in the binational Transcultural German Studies PhD program at the University of Arizona and Leipzig University. She acquired her Bachelor of Arts degree in German and English Studies at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and her Master's degree in German Studies at Leipzig University. In 2020, she studied for one semester at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and completed different courses in German as well as in English. Her research focuses on contemporary German literature, including topics like identity, migration, memory, and Heimat. Her Master's thesis examined the effects of migration, such as trauma and oblivion, on identity formation.

Introduction to German language and culture, refining communication skills (third semester).

GER 301 – German Cultural and Literary History

German 301 is an intermediate/advanced course for students to expand their knowledge of the cultural history of the German-speaking countries. The course advances students' ability to discuss and write critically about literature, film, and other cultural artifacts related to key moments in German history. Taught in German.
