Applications for all of these scholarships are due on December 5. You can find further information about these and other external scholarships here.
- Deutscher Studenten Club Study Abroad Scholarship: Helps University of Arizona students finance their participation in study abroad programs in German-speaking countries. Students with one year of German as of the summer can use this towards study in Leipzig or the Medieval tour of Europe, but this can also be used towards other study abroad programs.
- Federation of German-American Clubs (VDAC): Partially funds 10 months of study in Germany. Please note that you will continue to pay UA tuition.
- Oskar Grunow Scholarship: Helps fund their participation in the summer study abroad program in Leipzig.
- Weinel Memorial Scholarship: Support for intensive study, e.g. in summer program in Leipzig, Medieval Tour of Europe, German in Taos program (also open to graduate students).
